Hello Bill Eason..............

It's been 7 weeks and I've yet to see the clutch cover I paid you for. I've called you every day for the last 4 weeks (multiple times a day in some cases) and you have yet to return any of my messages. I know you are there as you just changed the greeting on your answering service yesterday.
I want:
1) the clutch cover I paid you for or
2) my money returned
Either option is fine, just make it happen.

If others on the board would like to be of assistance, Mr. Eason's telephone contact is 302-337-3872. Perhaps if a number of people start calling and putting pressure on him I just might get a response.

You have my telephone number Bill - it would be the honorable thing to call me.

Eklipse i thought the samething

When I saw learning2race's post count I assumed the same thing as you. I checked his profile I was suprised to see he has been here since 2007. Sometimes topics go unread that could stop these things from happening to any of us here. Good luck Learning2race.

I have been on the board a couple years. I travel a lot with work and don't get as many chances to log in as I would like.
I previously had two interactions with Bill whereby he brokered deals on my behalf - in both cases the transactions occurred without incident. This, however, was the first time I had made a deal directly with him for a part he had for sale.
I'm deeply upset at his non-response. Financially I'm out, for me, a sum of money that won't be relaced soon as I am looking at not only the money that, so far, apprears lost, but also the additional money I will have to spend to purchase the part from someone else. I can't wait much longer as I have lost use of my bike at this point without having a clutch cover (stock doesn't fit - I am in need of an extended quick-access style for a lock-up clutch)

Learningtorace, if it was your credit card you used to purchase the items or it was through paypal contact your credit card and see if they will allow you to file a dispute over the charges. If it was cash well then...........

If he is proven to be this much of a thief then why can't we get him banned off this site? I see his name pop up as online a lot lately.

The original clutch cover was used - thought I was getting a good deal. Two weeks after it was "shipped" I asked what happened - Bill's response was that the shipping company had lost it, but not to worry as the shipping company told him their insurance would cover the cost of a new one. Bill told me he had bought and shipped me the replacement - that was four weeks ago. I just contacted the company that he "bought" the clutch cover from - they told me the last time this item was sold was Sept of last year!!!
I've obviously lost my money, and now I've just paid to have have a new unit sent from the company who makes the part. Guess I need to have a good cry and move on........
I'd still like to see members flood his phone number for no other reason to piss him off!

What about turning him in for mail fraud or something like that? Get enough people to turn him in and he could be in big trouble. I buy and sell computer parts all the time through the mail, ups, etc.. And I've heard of people who rip people off being turned in for that kind of thing. I can't stand that shit! Contact your local authorities and see where you can go with this or maybe someone else knows.

*****I had read these concerns on another board and now they have migrated here. While I am in favour of sharing information, I have some concerns.
To the members who claim problems with Mr. Eason:

I will only speak for myself when I say that your plight would have more impact if it remained a simple factual account of your concerns. Including inflammatory remarks (LIAR, THIEF, etc.) lost my attention and certainly some of my empathy for you.
Further, silence is not an admission of guilt - it may be that Mr. Eason is simply taking the high road and not being dragged into a name calling contest in a public forum.

At this point I'm hearing only one side of a story - for all I know it may be these members who are at fault for not expressing exactly what work they wanted done, and when they received what they asked for, are now looking for a way out - buyer's remorse iscertainly not uncommon.

I have no personal stake in the outcome of this matter, I'm just taking some time to register my concern at having a fellow human being's name slandered on no more than the word of a couple people who have an obvious personal agenda.

Finally, as someone who deals with litigation, I am always interested when people throw out threats of "I'm getting my lawyer to deal with it". If, in fact, these members have such a wealth of documentation proving they have been wrongly treated ("stolen from"), why have these members simply not provided this information to their local Police? If it is such a clear-cut case of theft as they claim, an official charge would be in order (if nothing else to shore up an upcoming civil legal dispute). Just thinking out loud.

I will be away on business for the next couple weeks and will not be on this site. If any one of the accusatory members wishes to challenge me/call me names, please do not take my silence to mean anything other than I am simply not reading their comments at that time. *************

I didn't dawn on me til now, that me and learning2race had some words back in the day. The old post is copied above and words quoted by Learning2race.

Not trying to be funny because this is no laughing matter. I post this to say that back then we were telling the TRUTH about Bill and wanted everyone to know.

Learning2race I really hope Bill makes it right with you my friend

I had a dealing with Bill some time ago on a set of front rotors, they were not what he
said they were. I was told I would be refunded and was not. I still have a set of front
rotors that I cannot use . . . . no other contact was ever made by him.

Exactly what I wrote at the time.
As you will note above, I stated that I had two positive interactions with Bill - both occurred after this was written based on recommendation from a person I race with/against. Both of us received goods that Bill brokered and the dollar value was high ($1500 for my friend and close to $3000 for myself) As I stated above, this deal was the first where money was given directly to him for a product he was selling.
I am loathe to believe that people do not hold the concept of integrity at the highest regard and based on my friends positive response I was willing to give Bill the benefit of the doubt. Now it would appear that, yes, I am in the same situation as you nellics.......my fault entirely for holding my hopes too high regarding simple honesty of representation
