Where's your compressor/bottle?

I want to re arrange some things on my bike mainly under the seat. I currently have my bottle for airshifter under the seat and the compressor motor under there along with all the other stuff Kawasaki saw fit to place there.

Has anyone come up with another neat spot to place the air compressor and bottle.

Get one of the lightweight batterys from dubious. That opens up alot of room in battery compartment. I dont see why it wouldnt all fit in there. And then put the nitrous bottle under the catylyst lol. U know you want to.

+1 on the tool removal! i left the bottom half of the tool "box" mounted and mounted the compressor in it.

I like the idea of the compressor inside the bottom half of the tool box. I want to try and place it somewhere else out the way. I need to get smaller bottle. I may try a 9oz bottle and place it somewhere else.

Rick check your PM.

The bottle can go into the right fairing near the turn signal. The MPS air bottle fits there and it is pretty big. The compressor can be mounted to the ledge in front of the forks under the headlight housing. The end...

Never thought about that, and it would be a good way to get a little more weight over the front.

When he says right fairing I think he's talking about the tail section. I've seen them there. Me personally I wouldn't put a nitrous bottle there bc too many wrecks you see the plastic on the tail busted.

No sir, front fairing.

I stand corrected. That is a good idea to mount it on the fron of the bike!

Thanks guys,
Just a little space management. I'm going to move a couple things in there tonight and I will post a new picture tomorrow. I have some more space saving and hiding I have been working on. Should be done this week and I will set up a new thread with lots O pics.

blackbullet,
All of that is in the battery box behind the factory battery under the gas tank. Lots O room under the seat for other stuff that way. Plus it quiets down the compressor.

Thanks again guys. Here is a revised version of the first pic. This is: battery, compressor, manifold, air tank, pressure switch with all corresponding mounting, wiring and tubing except for the gauge. It is connected to the one empty port you see. The way I did it, any condensation goes down the manifold and out through the shift solenoid in stead of the tank. Everything is quick disconnect including the solenoid and shift so I can lubricate them once in a while to accomadate the water.

This next pic is of where i mounted the gauge, not that I even need one.
