You should stop using that smeg as a bullhorn and come off that soapbox and have a drink of injector cleaner. Lol!

This story reminds me of this old man down here in Tampa Bay FL. Now he is old, atleast 70. But he rides a turbo busa. Stock wheelbase, and he loves the curves. He rides to the gap atleast half a dozen times a year from what he says. And he does ride the shit outta the bike around town. He loves to accelerate that damn thing. Its funny cuz he's all gray and balding short wrinkley old man that wears a shirt that says "life begins at 220+ mph"....

Very Niiiice.
My C4 was red too but without the 10 yrs of love.
I've found that if you cant spend enuf money on a Vette get a Benz. Sheesh!!!
Money vortex!! 1/3 the performance at 10x the price.
Bought that thing at a auction. Bad misstep! LOL.
Its just a cute car thats gonna go away come sunny weather. Seriously spendy parts and there is no DIYers!!!!
Gets the same MPG as a C4, 1/4 the oumph and thrice the attention from girls.
Lesson learned.

Not in Johnson County anymore. Just out of Fort Worth a very long straight no inlets.

Real Drag Racing was in Ennis, Texas.. Texas MotorPlex NHRA and so big, hard to get a lot of passes. Use to have test N Tune on Wed. Nights but 90 minute drive each way on work night. Wheelie goes to new track in Dallas.

Have not taken 14 to track yet. Still SWB set up for long rdes, Ozark mountains in
Arkansas is a fun three day trip, we do several times every summer. When that gets old
time to install extensions etc.

Well thanks Mate...Just had the pleasure of another victory lap on Sat. as a 600hp Viper jumped on me on IH-35 and I soundly extracted the Viper's fangs on numerous occasions in about a 4-5 mile stretch. I was so kind as to give him the jump a couple of times but alas, the snake was about 4-500 hp short!!! C'est la vie!!! Aurevoir and I like the Benz!!!

if you beat him that bad and with him having the jump on you your 14 must have a turbo! The new vipers can hang with you all day! The Z06 vette can do pretty well also.

Tom was on his 08 Busa, slammed and -1 on front and +4 rear sprocket. His silver 08 14 is
stock. Don't think it is broken in yet.:-). I was Shocked how much quicker gearing does on roll on'sin 2nd over stock sprockets. Really 60 to 150 see ya ZO6 or Viper. I have a Fast Vette...................... my car is slow :-)

Shooting for first week in May.depends what the weather is like in Arkansas. You are

welcome to ride up with us. Big fun in the Ozarks just going the speed limit, not many places to go fast. Trust me you will be a better street rider after 3 days in all those turns.
Learned how to counter steer with the bars so I was not so worn out leaning the 14 with my body. Look at my pic's in member Bike pic thread, rear tire has a Small Chicken Stripe. :-)
Pm me and I will give you my cell# etc.

No way I would "try" to Red light with you on my 14. I have shop full of FJ1200

I have had for years. My son and ride them with our wife's. Never had the 14

at the track............. yet. I am so rusty my 60ft would be in the 3 second rage on a good pass lol. SWB and high as a 4X4 for now. My 14 is still in warranty just don't want
beat it death so soon. :-) Come go to Arkansas for a few days, we stop and take photo's
and just Enjoy riding. Not a race in the tunr thing. Fun enough staying alive going the speed limit in the turns up there.

I am pretty sure this Viper was new or certainly newer and I think I remember GTS being on it. When I raised my shield to reveal my age to the driver who was probably in upper 40's (a guess) he stomped his Viper(we were cruising around 65) and I slapped by shield down and twisted from third gear...it was simply good bye Irene, no problemo! I allowed him to come back up along side and again he kicked and I said adios easily. Not absolutely positive he was all out but he didn't strike me with his antics as one who would relish an ass whoopin'! Capiche? He should be easy to look up to ask him if he was trying or not to out run the old man on the Rocket Humper...Yeehaa!!! His lic tag said 600hp...give him a call. I personally can't see any 600hp 4000lb cage givin' me any trouble any way one would slice the pie. As always I could be wrong but uncle Ben says, I seriously doubt it but then again I don't know Viper from snake lips! Capiche?
