zx10 fender painting question
I got a used zx10 fender and was wonder if anyone had painted the side front fender faring to make it look factory flat or gloss and what paint did you use? Im going to paint the main fender the factory silver and I dont want to just use armor all to make the sides look nice again.

they can be painted as is, or sanded smooth and painted.

Dub, did you use a vinal paint or just a regular gloss paint? I do like the texture but wondered about chipping or flaking?

my zx14 is passion red i just found a passion red zx10 fender and it looks great

I have never painted the sides. Check with the paint supplier or a body shop, but I would guess whatever they use on plastic bumpers....

I wet sanded my ZX10 fender than used duplicolour satin black in a spray can, it turned out excellent.

Krylon makes a spay can paint just for plastic. works pretty good. Use the satin black & it should be close to stock. No sanding required.

I wet sanded it till the shine was gone out of the paint,waited for it to dry and hit it with the paint.
