AMA Superbike
Not sure how many of you follow the AMA pro racing here in the states as I see talk of WSB and some motoGP........but what's up with Jake Zemke?!?! He takes some time off and comes back like Mat Mladin gave him some kind of home schooling -- Guess the new Jordan Zuki team has got their sh*t together this year! Yates would be up front too if he'd hack off his legs at the knee! Another statement of how height & weight variables play a part in bike racing.

Jake has always been a good rider and runs near the front...but with guys like Hayden, Spies, Mladin leaving along with factory teams...he's now a serious podium top spot contender. Nothing too suprising.
Same for Jordan Suzuki...have been a top runner in the privateer ranks for some time...but factory teams just got better parts and were faster. Level playing field now with no factory teams out there. SHould make for better racing IMO.

Definitely! Always see Jake in (at the very least) top 10, but he'd holeshot races and fall back -- not this year though. Seems like all the racing is on a more competitive level with the big dogs of each sport retiring, moving on, or out with injury. Both classes of Supercross are a real battle this season too!! I'm lovin' 2010...

Some tight racing -- top 4 guys within 3/4 of a second from one another! Awesome -- Daytona is usually a drafting contest for the win, but that's surely the tightest I've seen it in a while

Jake is a nice guy. Glad to see someone with a decent perspective doing well. Better than a lot of the frickin self centered pricks I have had contact with in superbike.

If you don't have that as part of the racing recipe, grab your pee-pee and go home. A race track is a place to go hang out your balls with the other pricks.
Make sense?

Me and my father met a couple while checking out the infield a Daytona durring bike week last year. Turned out to be Josh Hayes parents. They were about as dowm to earth people as you have ever met. True Texas folks,it was a pleasure to visit with them.
