Exhaust question

I`m looking into changing the exh. on my `06 zx 14,and am wondering what most people here are using....i`m looking for a full system replacement, and my choices are between Akrapovic, Sato Racing, or Brocks....anyone here have a good recommendation from the ones i`ve picked?i`m leaning towards the Akra...will a pc3 be neccesary as well?

You'll most likely get overwhelming responses for brocks here on bikeland. All of us that have bought from him have been very satisfied with the customer service and the power made. I run the street meg and really like it, but his new CT series is artwork and makes really good midrange power as well as the power up top. The akra and sato are very nice pipes as well, but I still prefer brocks.

If I were to choose a pipe other than brocks it would most likely be the Orient express pipe made by ti-force.

I would have to give my vote for brocks as well. I have the CT meg and it is beautiful, light, and makes great power. If I had to pick a second one, it would be the Akra because they make good power as well.

You will only get Brocks here. He is frickin great. Yes you will need a pcIII and a good map for whatever you get. So if you have deep pockets go Brocks. Or go shopping. I did and I'm happy with my choice.

The 3 you mention are all good. Just depends on maps and who will help you set it up. Customer support.
Hence Brocks is a best bet.

The tsukigi is an often overlooked exhaust. For the price, it is VERY good. I think the best value is the orient express low mount made by Ti-Force. Exceptional quality and power.

You Know from experience the Muzzy m14 system makes good power too. :-)

Brocks has the best customer service I've seen. Ti-Force has some of the best

welds out there. Ti-Force also hand makes a killer center stand stop for the street riders that add the stand that have removed the stock exhaust. When I tour I install my
center stand, it's works on my Muzzy too.

There are several systems that make good power shop around, the Yosh R77
works good friend has one his 14 runs right beside other friends SMEG and M14.
On the street.

I purchased my M14 for 1/2 the cost here. Drag Races always try different stuff, good deals to be had keep looking. Thanks Shane661 :-)

I've had the Muzzy M14, Brock's Shortmeg, and the Brock's CT for street/track use:

Best bang-for-buck system: Muzzy M14

Similar power output to the Brock's shortmeg type header, much better ground clearance, and a lot cheaper.

Best overall, cost be damned system: Brock's CT

Slightly more power than the other Brock's systems (see his webpage dyno charts). Equally excellent ground clearance to the Muzzy, much lighter weight, and much higher quality welds. Very expensive.

With that being said, all of the mentioned systems are pretty nice.

I love my Brock's Alien Head. Sounds frickin awesome and makes great power. Havin the old full system Muzzy before now goin 2 Brock's, what a difference. I just think his price on the CT is insane. I mostly do street riding and for the look, the sound, and the big performance the Alien Head kicks ass. I'm very impressed with his street map as well. Its smooth and very powerful. He has definitely did his homework with testing his products.
