carbon fibre
anybody here have any carbon fibre goodies on their 14?if so, what is the brand to buy, and where do you buy them?

Carbon Fiber today is what chrome tape in the 80's was. Very popular until everyone has it then the trend dies away.
Unless you have a real carbon fiber item that really saves weight like a carbon fiber rear swing arm or wheels...

i put a Bestem zx10 front fender on mine. had to dremel out holes a little to fit and remove some cf on inside that was hittng rotors...but for $150, awesome!

Welcome to the forum. Check out Projekt D's web site,they offer several pieces for the 14. I have not bought from them so I can't speak as to the quality of their product though.

Not on a 14 but my 1k some observations that may apply regardless
Most came from a OPP but have nothig good to say about my expeierence with OPP
The 03 tail and front fender came from Yoyodyne not 100% CF if I ever did over would use them.

-Gas tank was the biggest weight biggest savings . Later fuel delamintaed the resins 
- After multiple clear coats required for the OPP crap finish was not much lighter than OEM plastic.
- The OEM plastic was much better at absorbing sounds. You may hear a lot more of the motor with CF
But...the primary reason for buying was to be different. Was getting tired of hearing "I saw bike just like yours fly by me or was doing a wheelie was that you? "

I have the Yosh CF Pipe... great if you have kids (keeps the heat down), and picket up a Huger from Projekt D that fit's great and have had no negative issues with!
