not to disagree, but to refute is what you meant?

I'd expect that from some of the new monkeys and punks, but am quite suprised with you Shane.

My bike maybe down for a long time but I grew up riding, and wrenching,
its been a burp in my life, and a sore in my heart that my project has dragged out like this but i have a family a career, and we aren't DINK in this household, so the bike takes just about last place to all that really matters in my life right now.
Family comes first, my daughter is 14 , soon she will be interested in spending time with other boys instead of this old one,

at this point in my life every day with her is precious and much more importnt to me.
I was going to buy a streetable 14 for the time being but truth be told, I don't want it to detract from the important things in my life at this moment.

I don't even know where Cris is with my turbo right now, and i really don't care.
It won't matter cause I don't have time for it.....

the time i spend on here is from work in the slow moments, or when i am away from home, unable to spend it with them or my bikes.

You always had an air of ignorance, and even when you were down I was still on your side...
remember?
wow.

Waaay back in the very beggining when you started your thread I tried to offer advice and even back then you ignored it.
I told you the double bubble was not the ticked for LSR... I knew that from my own street experience...
I never had access to all the venues you guys have but I have ridden my bike just as hard as you could on any track.

your still playing me for stupid... shame on you.
that is truly ignorant.

the smilies and conjecture might as well be fingers and fuck offs,

of all the bs going on here, and the personal attacks, attempts to refute I think this disapoints me the most, and really when I look back it shouldn't I guess.

Congratulations, and goodluck.

Jesus Lyle, let it rest.

Call Mark at R&D Transmissions and tell him he doesn't know what he is talking about. I'm giving the best information here that I know. I'm sorry if that bothers you. Yes, my advice on the trans, gearing, and shifter may not agree with yours. I also have much more experience with racing setup, gearing, and Dragstrip/LSR on a ZX-14 than you do.

As far as your advice goes, it is/was appreciated...but not always correct. So what is the big deal? Nobody is correct all of the time...as I say, we can only give the best advice that we know. Just because I don't agree with you doesn't mean I'm out to get you.

Shane

Lyle, you are more sensitive then a child. I welcome your advice, but don't jump on everyone that disagrees, just agree to disagree.

Just to throw it out there on the gearing and to agree that gearing is rider preference. Smokins friend Tgleason is about your size and has been 8.90's with 16/41 gearing with a stock motor. You don't have to go bigger to go faster. It is all in the way you ride.

You just need to move to a state that allows for more seat time.

hahahahahhahahhaaha I'm saving that image for future use!! Funny shi'ite right there. If it makes you feel better Gilberjj, I'll be hitting the track on the bike sometime this summer: after I get the car all dialed in with the new heads, cam, high stall converter. I just gotta buy a strap for the 14 then I'm ready to roll.

Do you only go to Bremerton? I thought I saw your bike at opening day at Pacific. ??
