Parts selection, in general is more abundant on the Busa, the aftermarket support is insane on those bikes. I just cant get over the bulbous looks, just too strange looking. At the same time, the Busa owners make comments about the George Foreman grill fairings and having more eyes then a fly on the ZX14. Its all subjective i guess, but i still think overall package of the ZX14 is better then the Busa. My only gripe with the ZX14 is the lack of under seat storage space without having to ditch the tools.

I never minded the foremans or the headlights. only thing I ever thought was a little off was seat and cowl. wish it would have been two parts.

+1- you better plan to already have the seat off(in the event you plan to give a female a ride) or bring a #2 phillips

I've decided to trust the skilled hands of Eric at Rev'd Up Motorsports for another winter project to begin in November. I'm going to have him throw in 13.5:1 pistons, big cams, thinner gasket, balanced crank (remove counter balances), Muzzy SS system, BMC Race filter and tune the thing out. I'm looking for 190 rwhp and I'm pretty sure I can get it.

GSXR

190rwhp

i sure the puck hope so ..

my stock motor with a smeg made 189rwhp on pump gas

Mine too........Brock ended up getting her to tick just over 192rwhp with about 113 ft.lb.

Wow! That's massive for the mods you have. Must be a Wednesday bike.

GSXR

Well, all of this was done by the previous owner and Brock -- they used his bike ( now my bike ) as the guinea pig for the 2008 exhaust system so they probably tried different maps / header tuning combinations? -- Hell, for all I know they may have used MR12 or equivalent in it to produce those figures. He gave me copies of the dyno sheet when I bought it.........and I hate to say this, but the flies are STILL in.
