before you get all defensive we know what lee runs consistently so if he rode it we would know. you dont post up enough time slips.

Yes i want to do mine, but i'm going to shop for spare a head so i will not have so much down time .. I don't want to tear it down and wait weeks for my head to get done ..My cly head guy can get very slow at times ..
I finished it up today and took it around the block .. Never got it over 7 grand but it pulls hard ...I was suprize how smooth it was ..

We had to play with in super sport rules so no porting .. If i were going to port and mill head i think i would go with one of Jims CNC ported head and ask him to mill 20 off the head while he had it ..

can you still run it on pump gas with the milled head and 13.5 compression?

Yes, 93 octane min. Nothing less or you may and probably will get predetionation. That eventually equals big trouble.

A super sport head for a zx14 is $375. Its AMA SS legal.
You will be at about 200+ RWHP on a 250i, depending on other SS legal mods, but you will need at least MRX-01 fuel. You have seen these heads running on SS bikes at the tracks. Use your imagination.
The GSXR1000 head is very similar. They make 193 with our SS head. You have also seen these performing at the AMA national events, MIrock etc.

Smokin is it streetable?
Smokin would you consider the 13.5 comp ratio safe on a street bike? What I am getting at is would pump 93 and hot humid summer days have the bike in detonation? Could the Muzzy advacer be used to take a few degrees of timing out to prevent it safely? Would a street combo be more like mill omly 15 thousandth off the head and shoot for 13 to 1 compression be a safer bet. Would the higher comp equall higher motor temps as well? It would be real nice to have an extra 10hp in your pocket on bike night.

Well I've been running 13.5:1 on my ZRX motor for the last year. That old motor is a lot more sensitive to predetonation than the 14 motor. As long as I run 93 octane I've never heard any pinging. I don't see any reason why it wouldn't be fine.
