2006 Fly's out first ride...
Well all the rumors are true. This mod totally transforms the bike and makes the first 3-4K rpms feel like they have another 30 RWHP! Power is now all over the powerband where as before it felt like around 5-6K rpm you hit the nitrous button. LOL!
Loaded map and set throttle via PC3 and everything is running super smooth! Bike even seems to start better...
The only problem I had is when putting my fairing back on it seems like the piece in front of the tank is a little crooked. I took it off and everything is lined up and snapped in right but it's still crooked...anybody else have that issue?
Definetly worth the time and effort! Thanks for all the support this forum offered! You guys rock!

Dont know about your fairing . . . . . . but I do know the flies out is the only way to "fly"

once you pull the fairings,they never go back on as good as they were from the factory... simple fact of life lol.

The lugs on top front of the tank , do they still have the rubber sleeve on them ?
I lost one and it sat crooked.

Those metal tabs can also bend, which can cause some fitment issues.

Also, where can I get one of those rivet snaps things that go under the headlights and pop in and out of place....i noticed I am missing one...

I am still deciding between taking the flys out and not taking the flys of my 07. My bike is still in storage and you guys are killing me. I think the first thing I am going to do when I get it home this week is take the flies out before I even ride it this season.
Darn you all...
I am so dog gone horny to get m bike out....

See how one side has a smooth flush mount and the other has a small gap...grrrrrr!

Fiddle fart with it and when you get it right then tighten the bolt down.

Make sure tabs on tank arent bent, then line up the tabs with the inserts under the cover. Everything should pull together nicely

I did that just a few minutes ago...still not perfect but a little better...something is just a cunt hair off...

The tabs on tank may be bent slightly to one side in stead of up or down.

mine is crooked just like yours. i haven't messed with it too much, kawasaki's run better when things don't look right!
