Fork oil change
My 08 is two years old now with about 7000 miles on it. I am bringing her in soon for tires. Can anyone suggest changing the fork oil? Thanks

The fork oil should be still just fine with that low of a mileage.
If you were to change it you would see how clean it is .
But it is good practice to change the fork fluid every couple years.
Especially if the forks are used in dirty or wet conditions on a regular basis.
More important than that is to regulary clean the fork sliders cause they pitt very easily
when dirt and road grime is allowed to sit on the sliders .
And be thorough, don't just clean what you see but clean all the way around the tubes.

Just a thought . . . . . . . Changing the fork oil weight can change how your front end works.
If your happy with the handeling dont change anything - if the front end feels to soft or to
hard, this can be changed slightly with the weight of the fork oil.
