WOWOW! so is that the only way to get rid of the limiter on these bikes? Stock top speed is around 195 then?

195..NO! Tom did 208+mph @ Texas with higher gearing and a few other lil tricks...

Stone stock and I mean STONE stock, they'll do 184 in the mile. That's at Texas. That's how fast mine went, my best friends went and a guy pitted next to us went as measured by 3 bikes. On 3 different dates we had the same results. It was actually hilarious to watch/listen to them as you could hardly hear them run. You mostly heard them pushing thru the air.
When I screwed around and pulled mufflers, rear fender, bar ends, etc. I was able to squeak out 189.5.
I like modifying the nut since there is no electronics to mess with (I hear of issues on occasion with the various speedo correcting devices) and it's cheap at around 12 bucks. I'm changing gearing anyway...
