PC3 help...

Fly's are out, power commander program is on my laptop. Power commander green light is on when i turn the bike on.

My PC program will not communicate with my PC3 on my bike. I tried every port and even the auto option but it says PC not found.

Also when I got to load a map off the website it has a load all maps option. When I attempt to open this on my laptop it won't open it.

Also, does the bike need to be running to load maps and how do I reset throttle?

Help please....

thanks,
abe

no the bike does not need to be running to load maps.

check your cable, try to swap with a different usb cord if possible.

Load all maps option? you shouldnt need to load a map off the website unless you dont have the CD...

yeah what wee said too

Did you download the Power Commander software to your laptop?

you can only set the throttle with the key on, engine off> because you have to go from rest, to WOT in order to set it. it should be in one of the tabs along the upper portion of the PC screen. cant remember which off the top of my head. but go through them and youll see one that says "reset throttle position" click it. then you hit "set value" with the throttle closed" then WOT and hit save. something along those lines...sorry if im a bit off i do not have my pc in front of me

its a big deal!! youre setting the TPS recognized by the PC. your map and bike would run like doo doo without doing it. i do it EVERYTIME i change maps.

do you not have the 9v battery adapter?? that is used so you can make changes, "talk" to the PC and do everything else with the bike off
