I saw a Dyno shoot out at a shop to a stock ZX14 with a full system it beat it in HP but not in torque the ZX14 had much more torque.

On a road race track the ZX14 doesn't stand a chance against it on the Drag strip the S1000RR will not measure up to the ZX14 or Busa .

Given a proper set up, a much lighter bike does not NEED all that torque....power to weight ratio is damn good. It's not too difficult to get a liter bike to run with a busa or 14, just good set up. I've seen it many times.

Im not jumping on the BMW bandwagon at all and never plan too. But the fact a stock bike broke the standing superbike record by over a second at Inde Motorsport Park says alot. And its like Brock said, is it going to hold up like the 14 and busa only time will tell? Also for drag racing its going to need upgraded clutches. All us 14 owners should be happy in a way if it is faster than a 14. maybe kawi will build a 14 that everyones been asking for. we will see but i doubt it.

Much harder to ride. At least for the average guy...and the 1000's are clutch slayers.
