Attention ZX-14 Drag Racing Guys
I have a Brock's alienhead exhaust, flies out, k&n filter, power commander 3. I have maps from Brock's that I've been using. I'm currently using the street maps but I am wondering if I can use the track maps? It calls for the air filter being out with the track maps but obviously I don't want my air filter out while riding on the street. Would it be okay to use the track maps with my air filter in?
I love having lots of low end pull and I know you drag racing guys have some kick ass low end pulling maps. Anyone have a custom map (not a Brock's map, I know those can't be shared) for a Brock's pipe, flies out, k&n or similar air filter, power commander 3 map you'd like to share. If you'd like to share one let me know the details of the map and email me the map shane47659@hotmail.com
Thanks.

you can but I pulled better numbers and had better drivability with the street map. you need race fuel to get the most out of the track map. just my opinion

The Brocks map is fine for the street with the filter in. That map doesn't remove much fuel until above like 9k rpm.

Call Brocks, that map is fine for pump gas 87 as well. I have run great numbers on both fuels with the same map. If you read the description of the map it tells you all of the parameters he recommends.

I had a custom map when I had my Muzzy but when I bought a Brock CT pipe I loaded a Brocks map. The bike is a lot faster with the current setup. I usually run without an airfilter at the track and I only use pump gas.

my bike puts down better numbers with the track map than the street map and I only run pump gas because i can't afford race gas lol. take a 10mm and some allen wrenches and snatch that air filter out when you get to the track. you'll already be pulling your mirrors and bar ends off anyway.
