Y06ZX14R... ???

I picked up a zx14 Wed. night. I guess I have to change my screen name now...

I have all the plastics off and the nose off and all I can say is this ram air ducting sucks.
I'm going to have to remedy this.

The air filter is tiny!!!

I'll have a bunch of aftermarket and factory parts off of it to sell soon.

...Nice Jim ... The ram air may not be the best but it's much better than the busa ram air ..

Really? How many millibars of pressure are you seeing in your airbox at speed?

Have you ever looked a busa ram air Vs a zx14 ? if you did it's plain to see that clamps and bolts work better than cheap assed foam stripping on the busa .. Someone did a test on air air systems a while back and it was proven that Kawi had the best system , Not perfect by any means but better that the other out there ..

Yep. I've looked at busa, 14, and lots of ram air systems. I'm not saying that one is or isn't better than the other. I don't know which one is or isn't better. I asked how many millibars of pressure you see at speed? I data log airbox pressure every single pass. I know what my airbox pressure is. I figured you knew what yours was too since you knew that the ram air on a 14 was "much better than the busa ram air". I was just looking for the numbers.

If you find a link or an article to the test that "someone" did shoot me an email or PM. I would like to read it. I like those kind of tests and I didn't see the article.

Sorry for going a little off topic Jim. Smokin, send me a PM if you find the info. Thanks.

Back to the new bike.

Going around the head lights makes the ramair system take a nasty 90 deg turn......

A catalyst super sport upper without headlights will allow for a nice ramair system.

Rick, you gonna make a few passes on this thing for me this spring?
