Finally took it out!

Finally got 2 take it out for the first time since the mods. Well it made great gains in in low and mid range for what I can tell. It definitely felt like it reved quicker, plugs and the advancer probably to thank for that. Seemed still very smooth with Brockks map and very nice sound with the Alien Head. Just gave it a litlle blast down the highway, not to crazy. I'm sure the Alien Head is helpin more to as compared to my old muzzy. I must say I'm likin that Brock's pipe more then I thought I would. Oh yeah, its definitely louder. Nice look with the 20 inch canister. The ZZZ chain streched a little. The pain in the ass right now is all dat lube flingin all over the place. Can't wait for the weather 2 get decent 2 ride consistantly. So so far so good. The next thing to do is put it on the dyno and check comparisons for recent mods and sneak to the track. Tires are comin as well, probably Pirelli's.

I learned my lesson on the last chain and cleaned this one before I ever rode the bike . You'll love the ZZZ!!! Mine stretched once and that was it. Now if only I was allowed to ride my motorcycle since I put the catalyst seat on it lol.

I can't wait to get out. Hopefully it will be soon.

I didn't think the ZZZ was supposed to stretch at all?

I think it just should stretch once and that should be it. I did clean the chain with Motul chain cleaner and a lot did come off but still had some on it after all the scrubbin. The crap just flings everywhere. Don't really care about a little gook considering how much better the bike runs.

It really feels like a different bike. Chains, sprockets, plugs, cleaned filter, new aluminum air filter cover, velocity stacks, and the A-Head with Brock's map with Ohlins Steering Stabilizer, good for now. Let's ride!

Chains don't stretch! The pin wear and they get longer.

you're one lucky devil........If it weren't for the kids, I'd be moving to southern Tenn or Carolinas........but my inlaws down there have told me that they're having an unseasonably extra cold winter with a couple inch snowfall -- so it seems like more of you are getting to enjoy more off season like we get. I got to live in Florida for a few years back in the 1980's and I can remember taking our dirtbikes out off and on in winter temps of the 40's-50's........which is cold in Florida considering July/August were hitting 110's back then. Damn, I'd kill for 40's-50's right now.

It's nice being warm here but we have the entire population of q-tips trying to kill us on the road too! Not to mention Fl. is now officially a police state. You have to get out in the boonies to really enjoy the roads. Oh I suffer so!

Man I feel for you guys in FL. Yes, reading all of the new laws/changes going on it does sound like a police state with open war on motorcyclist's. Beautiful weather for my first time on the drag track this year tonight.

I had a new chain on mine and the guys around here said to use WD-40 to get the gook off. Worked like a charm. That is all I use now. Just don't get it on the tires!!!
