Fogged up

What are you guys using on your shields to keep them from fogging up? I purchased a new helmet with a fog-free shield, but am still having fogging problems.

Rain-X Anti fog. Pick up a bottle at most any auto parts store. With my Scorpion shield I haven't had to use it any in a long time.

I have thought about the fogx but wasn't sure how it would react with the plastic windscreen. Good to know someone has tried it.

Yeah, I second that eklipse. I was worried about it screwing up the plastic. Good to know.

+1

what's worse is my glasses also fog up even when the shield doesn't and reaching in to helmet with gloves isn't easy in hi-way traffic.

Spit works well when the outside of the goggles are underneath cold water and the inside is sealed tightly to your warm face.........when it comes to fogging up visors, not sure how that would work unless it's cold and raining outside!! LOL!!

Buy a Shark helmet and you never think about it again. Both my Shark RSX and RSR2 never fogs no matter how cold, how rainy or moist it maybe. Thickest visor in the industry @ 3mm thick, among the lightest production helmet out there @ 1250grams, and greatest investment i ever made. I rarely use my Shoei or Arai anymore.
