My Dear Friends,

Thanks again for being concerned about my Family and me. Let me give you an update so you know how things are going right now in Chile:

- Finally last Tuesday or Wednesday, the government decided to bring our troops (ARMY) to the devastated areas, specially the cities where riots and ransacking where occuring. Also the police was reinforced so things are now normal. Most of the basic services are back (water, power, etc.) and the issue now is road connectivity for the supplies to reach the southern cities and villages. As you know, the Panamerican highway was badly affected, with collapsed bridges, and badly cracked roads, so traffic is still slow but flowing steadly.

Little by little Chile is recovering, even though many...MANY aftershocks are being felt everyday (yesterday there were more than 11.......above 4,5° Richter's ). People is trying to get back to their normal lives, but it is hard, specially for the Kids, since many got traumatized and don't want to be away from their Parents or houses.

A Teleton was held last Friday and Saturday, and more tha $15MM (US$) were collected to help build wooden houses -emergency 1 bedroom houses, faaaaar from fancy- for people who has lost everything.

Hugs and God bless you ALL,
David
