Recent Spiegler brake line install results

I wanted to post the pics, install challenge, and final looks and performance enhancements of my upgraded brake lines.

There's a connecting link between the front brake line and line leading to the right caliper

I laid the cables out after connecting to see and measure what kind of adjustments were required.

I noticed that I had to use my vice mount to secure the bracket that's hold the brake line to turn the brake line tip to the location that allowed install with no pinching or twisting of brake lines.

Here's some pics of the finished install

All in all, it was an easy install. When I last posted that I was going to upgrade, I was informed that the Spiegler brake lines were too short and they would twist and not connect affectively. This was not the case, I had to rotate one of the brake lines to fit the front but everything was a close to exact fit and the stopping power and cosmetics are amazing!

This may be an obvious answer but does the manifold mount in the same location (same hardware) as the stock piece? Did you order your lines from Brock or somewhere else?

Yes, same location.
I bought the kit from a company in Michigan that's a Spiegler dealer. I went to Ebay, searched Spiegler, even though I didn't see anything for the ZX14, I just clicked on the Busa retrofit and got the number to the company from there. Here's their number (734) 996 0135 and they have great prices($220 for both front/back). Brock only carries fronts and clutch lines

Spiegler lines are great!

Too bad their customer serivice sucks and God help you if you might need lines for a zx14 with a gsxr rear caliper or lines for a gsxr750 with R6 front calipers and a Brembo master cylinder from a 1098...

I have another set that needs to be send back- let's see... clutch side front 3" too long and brake side front 4" too long...

f@ck me for wanting to upgrade my brakes with something else than what they have sitting on the shelf
