Shane 661 and KZ Scott - rod bearings check
Could you two elaborate on how to check rod bearings? I answered most of the other suggestions in my previous post but yours has me puzzled. Thanks

Man, I feel bad...we were just messing with yout! It sounds like a little fuel tank venting going on...nothing to worry about. Totally normal!

Masks are known for their gas tanks hissing. I've had 4 and everyone done it.

I've put Vortex keyless gas caps on every bike I've owned.
No hissing and no broken keys in the oem gas cap lock
leaving you stranded in VT (about 10 miles from the Canadian border)
and having a brand new bike towed for almost 400 miles...
There are a few things about motorcycles that I've learned the hard way,
first and foremost is not to be stupid

in a hurry putting a few litres of gas in the bike between rounds i hit the key, and it felt like rubber (i tend to get a little excited) and bent it damn near 90 degrees in the gas cap. i allmost had a damn heart attack, bent it ever so carefully back up straight and have used it very gingerly ever since. i really need to get another cut or get a keyless cap...

I did that with the original Key . Now I'm using the backup key lol! I need to get a key made as well .
