NOMAR TIRE CHANGER

You guys that have the NOMAR tire changer. I will be purchasing one very soon and have a question. I think the Cassic Ultimate Package is the best value for my needs.

http://www.nomar-secure.com/category_s/1.htm

The Cassic Ultimate Package has the extra hand clamps but not the tire spoonbars. Has anyone use the clamps vs the spoonbars? Will I need the spoonbars no matter what? Should I step up to the JR. model to get the longer bead breaker and in the process get two spoonbars? If anyone has feedback on the best accessories to purchase with this system I would appreciate it.

I am done paying too much for a dealership to swap tires.

I've done about 6 changes without the spoon bars (even though I have them). The clamps and the yellow thing have worked for me.

That being said, I am still working on my technique...so perhaps I will get more use out of the spoon bars in the future.

I have the Jr. Pro model. I thought the longer breaker bar would come in handy.

Thanks for the info Shane. The tires they install on their videos are all on rear wheels. Does the mounting bar easily clear the discs on the front wheel or do you have to really be careful?

The bar will clear the discs easily...but if you are not careful you could bend one.

Thanks again! I got two buddies that are giving me $50 each before I order it with the understanding they can use the machine for their bikes...now if I only had six more friends!
