Winter Projects
Aside from the obvious with some of us not being able to ride through the winter months, what has everyone been working on this winter?? Mods, slight changes, color changes...anything. Let's see what everyone has been spending their cash on(or maxing credit cards)

A lot of changes are coming to my bike. I'm going to retire the old build thread and start a 2010 edition. That way it will be a little easier to manage and view.

The only winter project I can do for now is wait for spring! It's 20 degrees in my garage right now and there's almost 2 feet of snow!! Gotta insulate and finish the inside and buy a heat source before I can get things done during winter months -- Ohio weather sux!!

I love Schnitz!
No turbo this year, but I will be running nitrous. I am going to transition away from the streetable build/setup and focus more on racing performance (although I'm sure it will see a little street duty here and there).
I will still be doing double duty with the bike, dragstrip and Land Speed. But I expect significantly more performance in each area this season. Expect to see lighter weight, better aerodynamics, and more power.
Like I say, a whole lot of changes coming.

nice, have you decided on a kit? i was going to run the "spyder" setup but someone informed me that on kawasakis and suzukis the n2o just blows right past the rings with that kind of setup.

we are going to build a shop bike -- track only --- stock bore and motor only for now--
our port work and a few other tricks looking to get close to 200hp on stock bore and stroke -
looking for a tail section to put on and start shaving weight -- going to put the zx10 wheels on -- my winter project is getting a late start and might be a spring project that rolls into summer
also looking for a deal on a arm to get me to 68" -- if nothing rolls in soon gonna to start building our own .stay tuned cause we have a lot of work to do.

that other n2o controller is a WOT/RPM switch? man i dont think im ready to tackle n2o controllers just yet, figured just wiring it up with the button whenever i do it and just hang the hell on. but then again with those you will get a much more consistent and smooth hit.
osr-tryin for 200hp without cams/headwork?

No serious projects here except for me and the wife desperately searching for a new house that fits our needs and budget. We sold our house in 3.5 weeks (while others on the block, same houses, have been sitting for over a year) and we don't have another house to move into as of yet.
We found a house in our development yesterday that had just been listed, and it sold in 24 hours. We missed the boat on that one.
I did make it to the track on wednesday night though. I only managed 4 passes and the last 2 just plain sucked. It was 45 degrees out and the bike liked it. I pulled 117.6mph in the 1/8 but with a crappy ET of 6.52 on a 1.69 60'.

Ivebeen working on a couple kzs i picked up. Btw shane, nos is so addictive. I also like the wet nos. Dont like relying on the injector. But i know others that get away with the dry.
