Going to get the beast in the morning!

Going to pick up my passion red 06 in the morning! Pretty stoked right now.

Rented a 6X12 enclosed trailer from U-Haul and was wondering the best locations to strap the bike.

The bike comes with a service stand for the rear tire. Should I prop it up with that and strap it down tight?

Only have to go 42 miles in the trailer.

Thoughts?

Thanks...

Abe

Get yourself a "canyon dancer". The best way to strap a sportbike down!

Congrats on the 14 , just paint it black , and it will be the Ducks Nuts!!
The second model canyon dancer with the solid plastic bar end cups holds the tiedowns further away from the fairing , to save scuffs.

Not usually found at wally world or anything like that, likely at your local bike dealer that has a parts dept.

Its called "canyon dancer 2" and they are great!
They hold the straps about 50mm further out each side than the original model, giving more clearance over the fairing.
I've alo heard of the second model being better than the first wife???

I haul my bikes in my pickup on the kickstand. Jam the front wheel in the RF corner and strap it on 2 points diagonally. LF and RR. Done 1000's miles like this.
