Spencer Cycle "sure shift" kit

has anyone used this kit or know anyone that has?? its significantly priced lower than an MPS kit from mpsracng or anywhere else.

is there a reason its so much cheaper?

from what I have seen a lot of brand name stuff is marked up a lot compared to if you pieced it together yourself(IF you know how)

what kill box does it use?

thx for the assist dogg. gilber- i have used the quickshifter setup on my last bike. i will admit it worked flawless. its just the whole getting my feet up on the pegs to shift! and the setup pretty much costs the exact same as an airshifter...but is very very compact.

My quickshifter , once set up , is great.
If you purchase one , let me know and I'll give you exact measurements to drill the gear lever.
I always wondered if you just purchased a momentary switch mounted for your left thumb and connected to the the pins on the PC that the quickshifter plugs into , then borrowed the software disk that comes with the quickshifter. Then just preload the gear shifter and hit the button when the shiftlight flashes.
Anyone done this? would be cheap as a $2 hooker!!!

yeah people have done this too. i think some have strayed away from it though because its another thing to think about ya know? youd then have to worry about moving you foot AND pushing a button.
