power comander
ZX14 came with after market pipe's twin can's, power comander, it runs spot on since i bought it ,question is , thinking about looking to see if the flies are out , it has no more power down low than my ZRX1200 ,if the flies are in , can I just add fuel manualy , with the power comander or sould I get a map , don't know the type of exuast, searched every where, no name!, have learned to ride it , the way it is but wheelying to 80 mph is kinda wild , hard to control when it snap's up , can pull it off the deck at 25 to30 real easy . still think the flie's are in.want to pull em where to find a map??

I will go back their, down loaded them last season, but started to wonder , if a Brock's, or Muzzy's would have a better map, along as I am playing with it , thinking about changeing it all, thank's for your input, can't belive their is no manfacture stamped on the aftermarket can's that are on it, that is why maybe a new exaust is the way to go.
guess I can find one brand that's 21/2" outlet go from their!

Does anyone know if the Stock Air Filter, Stock Exhaust map on the Power Commander Website is for the flies out? It doesn't say, and it will still be a couple of weeks before I get my exhaust and I just have a PCIII lying around. Thanks.

They do have one listed for the 06 but not on the 08. Or should it be the same?

The fact that it has no more power than your ZRX1200 leads me to think that the flies are still in.

Thats what I am thinking, it does have some more, but it's unperdictable got to be carefull , when ya snap it open , might flip over .
just so much fun to ride, my favriot bike of all time , hard to tear it apart, with every one saying, they are smother , will have to make time, and peer in their, heat up a screw driver, expand those screw heads .
The ZRX was set up better than most, but their wasnt a chance in hell it would over pull.
I was wrong about the 09 map , just found 06, 07 their, too many toy's at the power comander site!

25 - 30? Real Easy? That must be some machine you got a hold of or some amazing set of slipons. I haven't heard many people say they could wheelie without trying let alone loop one over. Without any clutch action, mine won't lift until 8K something like that and I am really moving. I'm pretty sure I'm going a lot faster than 25-30. Geeze, I know i haven't been able to ride for a couple months but I don't think I remember even feeling the suspension compress a whole lot until about 50mph. Maybe i got a bad one. Shit, and my busa is just as much a piece of crap! Damn bikes!

Ask arround all I know in 1st gear at 2800 to 3000 rpm snap the sun of a bitch wide open , mine shoots right off the deck , if you don't back off it would flip over, it's not speical at all, the zrx1200 would , do the same thing, stage 3 kit , but never out of control.
the TL 1000 i had a few year's back 1 gear 3000 rpm same story , pull it stright up, none of that cheating, clutch bullshit.
Do have a friend with a busa sayes it won't wheele off the throttel, he must have a bad one to!!
all I am realy saying is their is a nasty peak in power at 6000 rpm on a zx14 when it crosses into that range with the front wheel in the air , you got to watch out, be right on it , or ya might crash, the front doesen't come down , till close to red line, 80 MPH is not fun speed to crash!! just thinking of making it smother.

The power commander site that you are looking at has a few maps but I belive you will have little success with these maps.I tried a few and they simply dont work well.If you have an 09 dont bother removing the flys it wont do much at all if anything. Most will suggest you remove them but it only helps bellow 4 k rpm.I removed mine on my 09 as well as a few others I know and it just didnt do much. With three different maps and a day on the dyno.Just not worth doing. The cheepest way to make your bike faster is to change the gearing.

It's a 07 dealer called one day , with a deal , I went for it, had aftermarket can's, while fixing, valve cover oil leak, found a power comander, straped on , once people screw with bike's like that, the resale value is zip at a dealer $7900 was cheap for a 07 in 07,with slip on's, power comander, nicer seat , smoked screen , bar riser's.to busy rideing it , to pull the tank for a look , at the fly deal .

Seriously, the 14 is known to be a very easy bike to do drag launches on. You might have sprocket switches made as well as the other mods. If that's a G1 with flies in, it is some kinda freaky. I've never snapped the throttle open on my 08 but I've turned it open pretty quick and it doesn't lift the front until the motor is really wound up.

Thats right, that's what happens if you run up the RPM kinda slow , then roll it full on it just lifts at about 6000 easy smooth your on your way ! But run it up say 2800 3000, snap it all the way open the front go's stright up , outside temp matter's, can be unperdictable !!
I love it , don't drag race it , did that alot before in life , it tear's bike's up tomuch for me , have my own style of tearing them up, love pulling 1 st gear wheely's the whole length of a on ramp, 130 across deserted worn pavment , in the middel of no where.
Thing is it was a used bike, god only knows, who or what screwed with it , till I scored it!
maybe fly's out, maybe just learned that spot to snap it open , will look soon!!
.07 power comander, aftermarket can's no name! some odd's and end's 3500 miles,$7900
