Well, the UPS guy showed up today with the NEW Michelin Power Pure tires. So here are the results from the scales. The new Pure and the 2CT weigh the same. It was 1 lb lighter than a Dunlop Qualifier and 4 lbs lighter than a Shinko R009. These comparisons were done with a 180/55-17 tire. I would like to weigh a Shinko Stealth but I have at the shop was a 200/50-17. The profile on the Michelin Pure is more aggresive than the 2CT also.
Hope this helps answer some of the questions about the new tire.

I just weighed the fronts in a size of 120/70-17. I weighed the Power Pure, 2CT, (regular) Pilot Power, Dunlop Qualifier & Shinko Stealth. All of the tires weighed the same except the regular Pilot Power and it weighed 1 lb less !! After I found this out I went and weighed the rear regular Pilot Power against the Power Pure and the Pilot Power weighed 1 lb less also !!
I am currently running the regular Pilot Power at the track and on the street and it looks like I will continue to.

These are the prices we are selling the Pure Powers at.
120/70-17 $109.99
180/50-17 $139.99
190/50-17 $164.99
190/55-17 $167.99
I'm sure they are cheaper some where else but these should be resonable.
