Been a long time coming, but looks like the ability to track or dyno tune your own ecu is just about here

Been hearing that since 2006! Still waiting.

This is the first I've seen of this. I think I will send them an email describing my needs and see what they have to offer. Can't hurt to ask! Thanks for posting~!

I posted your question on another site and invited Justin (Woolich) to come to the site and comment. He visited and gave an explanation of his product. While it's not quite up to par with the Suzuki ecu programer (he sells) it still sounds promising. Hopefully I'll get to try one in the near future. We've been waiting and begging for something like this since our bikes came out in 06' and is seems like it's finally going to happen.

Excellent, I'll call him myself as well this week.
We have several versions of the 14 need to be able to tune all.

Just don't forget the timezone difference
Justin is GMT+10 and works a day job outside the motorcycle stuff

I was going to call last nite but got busy , will try again this evening and get a list of what his flash is capable of ,
i donated a 07 14 ecu to get the ball rolling as i realy wanted controll over the rpm limits on a LSR bike
and sending my ecu to the USA was not realy an option i was interested in as i continually change stuff and probably would want something different before long

Great Johnny,, On the 06-07 14's, I'm hoping someone can look inside the ecu & do something wilth (Kawi's fuel cut off) Decel Pop issue which was very noticeable on the early models.. Would like to take care of it inside the ecu versus a tre..
Don had made a few adj on the 14R's, but would never look into for me on the early models.

I have it in my possession and it looks like it's going to be a lot of fun to work with but I haven't tried it yet. We have got to swap all our stuff from one race trailer to another I just picked up today and get ready for the Columbus Ohio race in a couple weeks so it may be after we get home from that before we have a chance to play with it. It wouldn't be no big deal if I weren't working long hours and 7 days a week. It would also help if were already familiar with ecu editor but I'm not so it's going to be a learning curve for sure. I'm sure I'll be on here asking for advice as soon as I get started with it.

Looks simple. I wonder how well the harness fit and if they are any issues connecting and rewriting the ECU. Does it works on a Mac or only on PC (Windows base only)?

Sounds like what we've all been waiting for!!! Anybody know if can use the Woolich system to tune blown engines? I.E with a 2 or 3 bar map sensor for boost reference.

Tuning for me will be later, for now it is just removing the top speed limiter, open secondaries earlier (at 3,500 rpms), and 300 rpm's tach increase. That's it.

I've been reading up on the Woolich Racing website about what they offer. Looks excellent for whoever is running a N/A ZX14 plus software looks nice and easy to use.

Unfortunately this is the answer we got from Justin about boost fueling:

"Hi Joshua
Thanks for contacting Woolich Racing
We do not offer boost fuel mapping for the ZX14, this would be quite involved to implement. We have been targeting the most common tuning features when releasing our bin file definitions."

mine is for turbo, just handy to be able to setup some of the background before tuning on a boost sensitive controller

After tuning the fuel with ZX12 this is just what I've been waiting for my father ZX14. It took some time and Guhl still has more options but that option to tune the fuel yourself is the one I've been waiting for. Let's hope Guhl will also supply program to do you're own tuning with all the extra features they allready have...

Ok have the interface and downloaded my ecu and sent the file to Justin for inclusion in the database , Aussie has immobiliser like EU ,and the US version would not have started the bike
So there is an immobiliser version available now for AU ,EU, SA etc
