yeah i would have thought the same for bracket racing. for the moment i just run for fun. i never keep a bike long enough to get it dialed in to run brackets.
im gonna assume the "PS3" youre referring to is an auto shifter or some sort? im new to some of the things you guys refer to lol

quote: Yes , I foot shift with my catalyst seat , and the faster you make your bike , the harder it is to foot-shift especially from 1to 2nd gear! I never missed a sngle shift till I geared down , and then the misshifts got more frequent ! I'm thinking an air-shift would help all around !
just me but are all newer kawi's have a hard 1-2 shift?? i know i had trouble with it on my zx-10 too

I foot shift if the track is iffy on traction. If you are trying to spin then the airshifter will play havoc on the trans. Getting the undercut trans. helps.

I thought ab the undercut transmision bc when foot shifting it popped into neutral a few times. But since the air shifter I've had not one problem. I see no need in spending the money now.

Why would someone "try" to spin?

the PS3 is Dale walkers electric shifter. Instead of being a huge bulky ram like the pingel it's a small one that mounts under your seat and has a cable. Go to holeshot.com and scroll down until you see push button shifter 3.

$539....... A co2 kit is $350ish isn't it? I can buy a lot of co2 for $189.
Thanks for the link. I'll look into it when the time comes.

I had the holeshot 2 and it sucked. Get the Pingle electric shifter and it is great if you can get past the look.

Which is really better, fuel or spark kill? Most use electric I would assume. And on the very little coil harness the 14 has, not sure I feel comfortable splicing into that

I spliced into the coil wire on the left side. Very simple.

Just one coil wire? You don't have to wire to each coil individually? I mean the negative side of each one.

It uses a box that cuts the power to the coils. very sinple and they make plug and play harness ready to go.
