I've never seen someone on a dyno just hammer the gears
like that. Looks like in the beginning he tried doing a
pull in first or 2nd gear...
I wouldn't think there would be accurate results
that way. Just my observation.

two Kawasaki Ninja's that after about 2500 miles they pulled harder.

Mine had 15,000 ,my dad had like 7000 , I'm not sure what flame on had but it was low miles .
What I find strange is that mine pulls way harder by the seat of my pants when compared to my dads or Flame on's.
But at the strip my bike is slower in mph then my dads bike , but both are about the same in e.t. Lol ! ____________ '06 Passion Red ZX-14

Ya I like how jardine Karry does it better just using one gear . he gear pulled the 180HP in 5th gear in that vid

after 15k miles your clutches are probably getting tired. Put some new fibers in it or some heavy springs and i'd be willing to bet that your mph comes back . at least it did for me.

Im stock motor ,yosh full TRC,BMCstreet filter,PC3
28deg celcius ,55% humidity .....163.98hp/99.72torque
with 40 dry shot ....211.01/134.69torque
If you put on a Yoshie TRC 4 into 1 , I'd recomend turning the rear wheel axle around
so the nut doesnt hit the muffler on hard launches.

That 15 K was a long time ago too cause she's about to turn 58 K now
So if the clutch slipping caused the mph difference then, now it's gotta be worst lol! ____________ '06 Passion Red ZX-14

Back to the Yoshi topic,
this is where it sits around my garage- in the corner with zero chance of ever
making it to one of my bikes again.
From their sound and weight to their power making... thanks, but no thanks!

+1 I've been to alot of dyno shootouts and private dyno sessions and have NEVER seen anyone so-called dyno a bike like that. Must be how he manipulated the dyno to give an artificially high number IMO. Not to mention he is risking dumping the bike off the dyno.

I think the Yoshi was a little disapointing for me at first it wasnt load enough. Now that I have 45K and about 40% of the baffle packing burnt out the pipe sounds great and puts more power out.

Yosh recommends replacing the packing for maximum performance and hp cause the exhaust won't shoot straight out without packing but rather work its back up inside the can before exiting the outlet,
and it's especially important on their CF cans cause they can and would melt without proper packing to insulate it from the heat.
