On another note can you still get u4 fuel? i thought it was not made anymore or am I wrong? Just wondering as I stopped in a bike shop a couple hours from me yesterday and the had a 5 gallon can. never asked them about just seen it sitting there.

All they sell now is U4.2.

If you saw a can of U4, its probably a few years old.

Another thing to note about nooby's size is that he is able to get into a much more tucked position than the rest of us, thus created less drag from the wind. So a head wind will affect him alot less than is does for the average fat person like myself.

I feel ya on that. I feel like a gorilla ducking on a tricycle trying to hide from the wind.

I am going to chime in on this one . Nooby is a straight up type of guy . I looked up and down his bike so he is not spraying . Yes he is a feather weight and I use to weigh 130lbs in the 2nd grade , but he is still one hell of a rider with a well setup bike .His 60ft times are damn near awazing . When you guys do this track day can a little orange busa join in on the fun ?

If you can get that 1/8 mile into the 5.7's you'll have an 8 second run. You just need a small shot of NOS. LOL

Eklipse, how low of a tire pressure are you running? even at those numbers it seems like your first half should have you at 9.05. edit: After 5 pages I lost track where you said there was a strong headwind.

Had 15 psi. Was fighting a little bit of tire spin in the 1st half. Remember the wind. I think that would hurt my top half

I have air shifter. I am in south ga. It was almost like Florida winds. Track goes from south to north andfor some reason we have been getting a lot of winds from the north lately. When I run the 5.7's last month I was at a track that runs from north to south. That may be the difference

Have you added new clutch plates or messed with the clutch springs?

Heavy duty springs. I would estimate 100+passes on the clutch, so it wouldn't be a great big suprise if it was slipping a little.

At 150 passes my oem clutch was still in spec, but stack height was near the lower acceptable limit.
