On one of the guys 14 here with Same mods as me nooby went 150 mph while the 240 lb guy went 143. Saw it with my own eyes... I think he had to be one of the lucky few to get a bike that makes unreal power

My E.T. Calculator said it would take 197 HP to run 8.69 @157 .. That is with a full weight of 655 .. That doesn't account for a head wind , i down know how much more HP would be needed to fight a big head wind ..

I went an 8.64 at 157 mph..... a bit disappointed that Eklipse didn't get his 8!!!!!! I was certainly impressed with my bikes performance with the nutty headwind.

Ho hum...157 mph on motor into a 15-20 mph headwind? That's what all stock motor bikes run...just ask Brock, I'm sure he will agree...

I'm not saying that anything has been done to Nooby's motor. But I would like to see him run those same #'s on Eklipse's bike! It looks like he got a factory freak, for sure.

I know he dosent have spray on it. He's been here Since Thursday and we messed around with the bikes Friday. I'm sure he would have told me by now if he had something done to it. He's not one of these shady ass grudge racers.

I'm not saying he has spray. But I think we can all agree that his bike is making a lot of hp. It would be great to see what it makes on Smokin's dyno!

Years ago I remember the highly successful roadracer Doug Polen getting protested. When they opened his motor, not only was it legal...but it was pretty damn worn out.

Your not going to get a factory freak that makes that much more hp. kinda funny smokings et calculator said in order to do those numbers it's making the same hp as a 1530. I know the et calculator can be + or - a few hp but they are usally pretty close. And mph is an indicator of hp not so much riding ability.

You can call bs all you want, but so can I. and I'm not the only one not buying this. you really think a stock bike would equal a 1530 for hp numbers? these bikes don't vary more the 2 to 3 hp from the factory. All good, don't really matter.

I plugged in my figures, it seems to be pretty close:

My bike makes in the mid 180's hp SAE with a rich map...which is near to 189 STD.

I would figure it to be within a couple percent, but none of these calculators substitute for the real thing. These are the kind of things we play with when it's too cold to race.

Smokin, Thanks for the dyno offer. I would love to put it on your dyno. Next question that I have for you is honestly with the fast numbers you put down on your 09' with pump gas and being way shorter than me don't you agree that you could run the same numbers as me? Maybe even quicker? I also run Brocks 0 wt oil which is supposed to pick up a few hp. So with MR9 adding 6% more power than pump and 0 weight oil adding 5 hp I would guess my bike puts down maybe 10 more hp to the rear wheel than Smokins 09'. No way my bike makes 220hp though. Also you can't spray with MR9 because it's oxygenated. I guess I'm kind of used to people accusing me of having motor work, spray or whatever else some guys just wear my ass out at the track calling me a liar to my face. Starting today I am not going to post any time slips because it obviously rubs some of the wrong way. This is a hobby for me that's all, why lie. Thanks Shane,Smokin and Eklipse for understanding and believing what I post about my bike. If any wants to throw in some tear down money email me please.

Well, Chad, I'm sure you can see why folks would question it. Hell, sometimes I still have my doubts...maybe you got a bike that was supposed to be sent to RG?

Honestly, I've never seen a stock motor 14 mph like yours. Of course we haven't seen Lee's bike with MR9 yet. And I hope to be near your combined weight this coming season.

I just got an idea...why don't we plan something for this season where we can all get together? Maybe a track rental day or something? Now that would be fun!

835lbs @160mph = 266hp

bullshitt ..not on any track i been too

fact 835lbs give of take a few..
fact 152 to 155mph
fact 3 different dyno's always around 275 to 287hp @9lbs .. many pulls from 3 years ..it don't cost but 20.00 to see a hp and fuel graph and i do this as a maintenance issue ..to check my a/f equipment

so i been getting screwed losing 5mph to 8mph with 9 to 21 more hp

i forgot it may be the head wind getting me.. but what about when i got a tailwind

Depends on how strong the headwind was/is.

So this is basically a 200 HP stock motor? Impressive. A lot of guys with built motors not making that much power...

It don't rub me the wrong way at all. Because no matter what you can ride and are running some good frickin times. but there sure should be some unhappy 14 and Busa owners as more must be lemons then good ones. And I had a buddy try the 0 weight oil and he saw only 1 mph if that on most passes and as smokin stated he went back to a different oil cause he hated the way his bike sounded.

I do understand Shane, I remember not to long ago you posted a slip of a guy running 5.50's in the 1/8 and I told you that there was no way in hell that was possible on a stock motor........................but now I can do it so I put my foot in my mouth on that one. I would love to rent a track for a day maybe South Georgia?
