End of the year street racing story
Back in 06 not long after i got my 06 red zx14 i was doing a lot of street riding and street racing .. Late one Sat night at one of our racing spots a local Gixxer rider wanted to race me .. I had seen him at the track before and his bike ran strong 5.80s to 5.90s , for sure he had some skills ... I knew it would be a close race .. We ran from a 60 role and he got a slight hit on me but by the time i clicked secong gear i had closed the gap ...Third gear i was pulling away from him .. We shut down about a 1?? MPH and were getting ready to do a U turn in the highway median and head back to the start line where there was at least 50 bikes waiting for us ...As we turned around we saw a Trooper flying into the grassy part of the highway median ... He blocked both lanes and jumped out of his car ...Holy Crap !!! At the same time like we had planed it we both flipped another U turn right in front of the trooper and went full throttle for about a mile ... I caught the first right turn and went balls to the wall never looking back .. I got home in no time and jumped on my phone to call one of my friends that was parked with the other 50 bikes and asked what happened ? He said they all split when the trooper turned on his lights and they were now at another racing spot about 5 miles away ... So they said to meet them at the spot and like a dumb ass i did ...I got there and the Gixxer guy was already there ..He told me i left him like i was on fire and he said when i made the right turn i was dragging a knee ! Well i don't recall dragging a knee but i was haulin ass ...He said he didn't think a zx14 could turn like that ... I told him neither did I ..lol....
Now this story is all fiction and the names and places have all been made up ...Really truely...lol...Ask anyone if i street race and they will tell you i ride like a little old lady....Really truely.....

i heard a story last year about a stock green 14 that put some smackage down on some piped 14's on the street, but can't remember who or where it happened. Hrm guess it was fake lol.

i know this guy in tangled up with a ferrari enzo coming off of the coronado bay bridge and it was so ugly that when he tried to slow back and talk to the guy in the enzo he wouldn't even make eye contact.

i've smoked a Z06 Corvette on the bridge and afterwards could not get eye contact, they were in a state of DENIAL. haha

So… in an effort of madness. My wife and I were out for a Sunday ride, She on her 636 and my on the 14. We were headed up the mountain for breakfast and morning ride.
Halfway up there is a road block, a truck turned over and blocked the mountain pass. We turned around and headed back… by now I am very hungry and starting to get pissy. My wife is riding slower and slower.. as she does when she is feeling off. We get to our turn off and I am giving her hell about dragging an anchor.
She tells me where to go!!
So I do… pulling a three gear wheelie on my way  As I turn to look for her … I see cop lights and her pulling in front of them to block or pull over… I do not stick around to see. 
She has done nothing wrong… and he goes by her to give chase to me.
I put my head down and think…. See ya
About a mile up the road is cop #2 sitting on the side… “This is getting hairy.. got about 2 -3 more minutes till the copters lock in.” I think.
I fly by #2 at about 100 in a 45mph zone, he flips on his lights as I pass and I get to look him dead in the eye ( he is pissssssed ).. I stick my foot over the plate in a feat of gymnastics.
About 1 more mi ahead is the highway with lots of exits… quick right onto the ramp and on the gas down the curved ramp… back tire breaks loose in 2nd and I manage to gather it back up 
Hard on the gas..3rd . 4th, 5th, speedo sweeps past 160 redline 5th into 6th past a buck 70+ .. About 3 mi of straight into a sweeping left to right that normally is not even noticed…now it seem SCARY.
No cop in the mirror …Off ramp, green light at bottom, quick left, right, ½ mi straight to Mickey D’s park next to a couple of Harleys in plain sight and ordered up breakfast…
Called wife, she is already home. She hops into the truck and comes over to pick me up.
We have breakfast…uck. And she rides the bike home.
After all… they are looking for a big guy on a red bike… not a little girl on a red bike
