If i were to plan on running with race gas i would leave my stock ones in but i want to burn e85 that takes ALOT more fuel than gas does, so i need to get bigger ones for the more fuel ill be burning its about 30% more

schnitz has a tech line to call and ask
i know that rc injectors work ..but i'm not sure about the rail .. i heard mitsubishi injectors work also ..
i use 08 injectors .. my injector duty cycle max out at 14lbs of boost and the pc the number values are at 50 in the 100% WOT ...
so i figure with e85 9lbs of boost with same pc settings or map .. thats what i'm going to try at the track ..if it lean i'll quit

I called but they were not to sure on of the will fit, Ive herd alot of guys running the RC 550s if i could just get a part number for them i would be a happy camper.
also i plan on running 750s or bigger, because when i do put rods and pistons in it it will be turned up alot more and i plan on doing this fuel system once only.
My friend just went to 1000s in his evo ill try out one of his stockers and let us know

well e85 in a turbo is a no go with 08 injectors .. i've got a dyno date late january but working off my data-logger i couldn't get enough fuel into the cylinders
even at idle my map #'s are -42 on gas ..on e85 it took +10 just to get the idle a/f right ..

It takes ALOT of injector to run e85, i have a few damn good tuners around here some of the best turners in the country (on cars) IMO and they all agree that i will need at least 750cc injectors to run e85 and make 300hp i plan on running 10 pounds so what ever it makes on 10psi that's what it makes im not chasing numbers with the stock motor but im guessing ill hit 310-320hp corrected and 250-260hp actual

if e85 makes more hp than gas like everybody says .. then you won't need 10lbs of boost to get 300hp .. my bike makes 287hp on 9lbs with avgas .. and that is my reasons for wanting e85 is less boost and cooler burn same hp ..

Your right, every car we have tested it in it has picked up right at 50HP but the cars that we did testing on were in the 750-900HP range so who knows what it will do for the bike

RC Eng in Torrence Calif. Send them an OEM and they can match it's fit and give you ones with different flow rates.

01smokes:
why would e85 take more injector?
anyone:
So when you guys are running PSI and other fuels, like avg gas or e85, do you still compute your AFR to mid 12's, or?
any of those fuels good for the street with PSi and stock injectors?

you better keep that A/F at 12.0 or you won't have an engine long .. e85 is oxygenated

It takes about 30% more fuel that gas does so you would need a fuel system to support at least 30% more fuel.
I am going to tune mine for 11.2 -11.5 keep it safe with alot of fuel it will help keep things cool and running longer.
The reason im going to run e85 is because it acts like race gas its high octane and it cools everything down big time and it also makes more power than gas does on the same boost levels.
Its kinda like q16 with less octane and there is nothing wrong with running q16/c16 it just gets expensive around here. i could get it for right at 14.50 a gallon, if i were to take the bike out for a ride around town i would most likely burn 2 gallons each ride and i cant get it anywhere but at one place around here.
so i chose to run e85 because i could get it anytime and its 2.30 a gallon the only thing different is putting in injectors, i was already planning on doing a fuel rail, big fuel lines and big pump.
