The welds look adequate, had to redo the welds on the Muzzy exhaust and deburr the down tube. A lot of tuning had to be done to make it dead reliable. Go to You Tube and look at ZX-14 street bike at the drags. Your turbo looks small, what is it? My 1/8 mile can be beat by any ZX-6, launch is terrible but top end is awesome.

That turbo system in the pic made 390 Rear wheel H.P. at 16 lbs of boost. We were using RC 550 injectors.

yep last time it was on the dyno it put down 133 actual HP and 162 corrected HP i sure hope to bring them numbers up by about 130hp in the next couple weeks we shall see what happens.
i was just debating on a fuel system and i think i figured it out, im going to go with 1000cc injectors a regulator and and a bigger fuel rail its going to always be ran on e85 and that takes about 30% more fuel than gas, and everyone that i know that has ran the e85 on boosted applications ALWAYS pick up 30-50HP over fuel with the same boost levels, but the cars are all in the 700-900hp range.

if you like street riding your bike those 1000cc injectors may not be the best choice.
____________
b.w.
zx14, little longer, little louder, little lower.
08 Busa, just a little longer and louder and lower than the 14

I was wondering about that, im not sure how low ill be able to take them and still keep them streetable, i could afford to lose some streetability but i need to ride it some times on the street

You do know that the FMU you got with the kit is a Boost compenstaed regulator? It has static and on boost adjustability. the static is set just like any regulator with the lock nut and the screw. the boost is adjusted by the small valve on the top. It basically bleeds boost off through that valve. As the bike makes boost it puts pressure on the top of the regulator making the fuel pressure go up which richens the bike up. It's simple and works very well. Plus it will be a great daily driver.
