what was his 1\8 th mile time

5.99 1/8th

I think I can get my short times down a bit more with a revalved shock. I have a couple more things to try before I send it off. It's stock right now.

To correct Lee's earlier post, it does have a PCIII, but I could not tell you what map is in it, I have not tuned it at all. I'm still learning to ride it. I want to do a few more things to the set up and bottom out my times before I stretch/regear it. I'm looking for low 1.5s 60s maybe even high 1.4s with a great set up. I know I can do it, just a matter of getting that power down with a bit more chassis set up and tuning.

Had a blast getting in some seat time and making some passes with a friend. Thanks for meeting up kawasakijockey.

It was fun Jon. About time we got together at a track. Maybe next month we can go there again since I got the new tires put on yesterday. A shock job is next for me too when I can find $300 laying around.

How much of an improvment do you think that a revalve shock will make ? Mine is still stock and this idea has crossed my mind but i have never had a shock revalved.

For me, not a lot, but then again I am getting down to the nitty gritty and last few thousanths. At this point, it's not going to be big losses, just a little here, a little there, but the sum of all the tweaks equals up to a nice improvement.

The shock will just help you put the power down in a controlled manner. Having all the power in the world is no good unless you can make use of it (which is what I am trying to do).

. We had a pretty stout cross wind and track prep was not good at all and went away real quick.

with 2 oil downs a heavy dew and kitty litter all over SAR it was a ice skating contest this last weekend ..

and to barry hensen who told me busa's don't blow-up ..1 them oil downs was from an 08 with chunks of cases and rods left on the track ..

1Bad, when are they gonna fix that track? Have you heard anything? I was so close to going Friday night, but got started too late. Now i'm glad I didn't. Killin' me.

beats me .. but its practice on how to get down a bad track..i think i've only been to 1 track in great condition in 2 years ..

I know that Litzracing.com has done some suspension work for AMA guys such as Rickey. Litz Suspension is about 2 hours away from my house so maybe I need to go see him.

5.93 @ 128 mph

That mph is mind boggling for the 1/8. Unreal.

Here is a copy of a 5.94 pass and the other one is the one with a 1.50 60ft
I thought that I had went a 5.93 but I do not have a slip to show so I can only prove a 5.94.
