helmet visor
I'm sure this has been answered, but it reminded me last night when I rode to he store and it was 40 deg. How do you guys stop your visor from frogging up? I am mainly concerned for the track bc right before you take off your visor is all foggy and it just messes me all up. I know I'm not the only one full of hot air!
Before I tried putting something like fog-x (made by rainx) I wanted to ask. Thanks for any input.

Dusty, I have the Shoei RF1000. I had the same problem for a long time. Just a couple months ago, Tressie pulls out the box and tells me I need to snap in the nose piece to stop all my hot air from fogging it up. I told her that would'nt work, but I been using it ever since.

Most bike shops have these items that will place a layer of clear plastic inside the visor attached with a sticky border. It keeps a layer of air in between the visor and the plastic clear piece mentioned, "duel pane visor". Cost is around 15-20 bucks.

My Shoei has a Pinlock anti-fog lens, an inner flexible visor which attaches to a couple of pins inside the main visor. Makes it double-glazed and you can attach it or remove it as required. http://www.pinlockusa.net/
Honestly though, I find it easier to ride with the visor open an eighth of an inch. When I stop I flip it up. I've only used the Pinlock visor once or twice in wet weather.
Clean the inside of the visor with soap or a proprietary anti-fog cleaner and don't breath out through your mouth.

You may want to try the Foggy Breath Guard. It has completely stopped my visor from fogging. It is universal and transfers between helmets with little effort.
