do all black 06 14's come with silver wheels?
just curious if all 06-07 BLACK 14's came with silver wheels. i noticed when i got mine they werent black...but that midnight sapphire metallic or whatever color they are

No, bronze for '06, silver is '07.

I'm pretty sure all the 06 bikes come with the dodo brown wheels (bronze color). I think it was 07 or 08 that they got rid of them and went to silver

Damn that show's how much I know, I thought they all came with silver wheels. I guess I was just blinded by the best color 14 out there... SILVER!

paint stripper cleans the shit color right off! There's NICE aluminum waiting to be seen..and polished. I can punch my polishing finger through 1/2 plywood now

+1 polished the rim and did not touch the silver spokes. Semichrome Metal polish
really works good.

I like bronze or black. Not a fan of silver on these bikes.

I think the Silver ones looks and offer a great contrast with 07 blue Plasma 14's. That being said, I would prefer Black as the Silver shows any fling or brake dust immediately.

Ok Ill give you that one. The UK got that colour with the bronze wheels and it does look better with silver

Forget about black for a minute and look to the white! You will learn to love the white especially with black wheels!! Like Seinfeld said, "look to the cookie Elaine"

Hey dcjens was the middle of the wheels harder to strip than the outside? Or does it all come off pretty easily?

I would like to strip mine down and polish them, but such a pain in the ass to clean. Before I did the whole wheel I would buy some chrome ones.
