Big how Can I tell if tps is on or not?? Relax eklipse.

Do you have the Powercommander program? I dont know if you can down load it off the site but the tutorials are on the powercommander site. Do you have a PC3 or PC5??

I have the pc 5 and got a new map from power commander and i stil have the flat spot so im not sure whats going on??

Thanks Shane, that's the same thing I am thinking, but I won't get to test it out until Spring now.

The connections are tight and the ground goes straight to the battery so it has to be a bad map.

to check the reported throttle position you would plug in your laptop running the dynojet software that comes with your power commander. with the sofware running and the bike running you should be able to determine if you throttle position is zero with no input (at idle) as you vary the throttle you would see the tps percentage change. at wide open you should see 100%. that's what makes the lcd so sweet you can see the tps, injector duty cycle, map change percentages all in real time. i would not recommend checking your tps at 100% without a load (dyno, riding) on it although i hear punks taking it to the rev limiter in neutral all the time!
