i had double stacked heibars on my trip from texas to california and they worked pretty well... I wish that i had the stock length bolts for my bike so that i could get rid of the 3/4" risers that are on it now. lol.

Hi Bruno

on my 08 SE ZX 14, for sports touring I installed the LSL bar back kit with a Superbike bar, adn GIVI V 35 hard bags on the GIVI quick detach racks. Fir windscreen, stock, with a Laminar Lip added. All works very well, can cover a lot of ground comfortably with a weeks worth of gear locked up in the waterproff GIVI bags.

Paul

And also a Pitbull stand! Don't risk a tip over of this nice machine over $100, not worth it IMHO

Get a Sergeant Seat and a Zero Gravity Sport Touring windscreen for it and you will be good for the really long hauls.

Where in QC are ya?
If you're near Ottawa there is a group of us that ride 14s and would like to see another.

naw...need a "sport touring" bike with luggageg and a big windshield. goldwings and trikes are full touring. although as many miles as I've been doing in this nice weather, a goldwing did cross my mind but I'm 45. I don't qulaify for a goldwing or the aarp card required to start it. I'm close though

guys heads up, I'm not stopping with the knee-draggers and will be keping a few around (600's and litre leaners). The V4 Aprilia may be next since I sold my 600.

But I'm looking for a long distance interstate style bike~

I feel like salsa being "crucified" over in the smackhouse haha
