Drag pegs
Does anybody run these?
http://www.pingelonline.com/sportbike_pegs.htm

They are about $50. I think I might have to get them if I put race with the catalyst seat. I'm tall enough where I struggled to get my feet up with the regular seat. I tried it with the catalyst seat, and I think it will be dang near impossible. If I got these pegs, I could at least get my feet up, and I could stay on the tank too. What do you think? Are there any other places that sell them? Could I still run them with a sidwinder, or will my right foot get burned off?

I guess it really depends on the particular exhaust as far as clearance for your toes. What size/thread pitch are the 14's spools??
62124 8mm x 1.25 Footpeg Kit, Pair
62125 10mm x 1.50 Footpeg Kit, Pair
62126 10mm x 1.25 Footpeg Kit, Pair
I might just give these a try.

I think they come with a warning:
"FOR BEST RESULTS DON'T STICK FOOT INTO SPINNING SPROCKET"
If you don't heed this warning, you will get instant, painful feedback.

They list that the bottom ones are for the 14. If you click on the check price, it says its for the zx14. However, I would think either of the 10mm ones would work (that's the size of kawasaki spools).

If the thread pitch is 1.25, the 1.5 thread pitch models would not work very well!

I just looked at the mcintosh website and didn't see anything. I called and left a message. I want to see theirs too before I buy anything.
Shane, let me know if you get them. I would like to know how you liked them!

they are made if you have underbracing on your arm
http://psychobike.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1548
or you could just get a set of vortex rear sets and custom make your own pegs on there to double as drag pegs.. your bike is drag only now right? so you dont have to worry about kick shifting

$150 for drag pegs!!!!!!! Yikes! Too rich for my blood. Thanks for the link though. I think I'm going to try out the pingel pegs. If I don't like those, I'll just put my catalyst seat and pegs up for sale!

If your tall your gonna have a time picking your legs up. I'm 5'10" with a 32" inseam and its not the easiest thing for me to do.
I'd love a set of those pegs, but I'm thinking with a alienhead I wouldn't have any leather or hair left on my right leg! Just aboiut every race I have to re sew my right leg up, burns all the threads out. (Don't comment wheelie!)
