I have had good luck with Roaring Toyz and like the guys that work there. They are in Florida so I have personally spoke to two guys from there face to face. Great guys BTW!

Insurance agent's fault , they always ask if you have costom equip. or you have to tell them to insure more than a $14000 dollar bike , any insurance company will offer more coverage, you have to pay for it !
So if you would have went to the agent with your bike , had them photo it in it's prime condition , payed more coverage , they would more likley pay you. your loss.

Dude my agent is my sister in-law, its not her she know what I have into my bike. She would come by to see the progress I was making when I put the bike together. She has sponsored me in bike shows to promote her business, it the adjusters playin this game. Its not her fault shes just caught up in the middle of this mess.

That bike is absolutely GEORGEOUS!
Quit arguing with StateFarm. Read the policy. Unless it specifically states you can not have 'add on's", increasing the value by or with custom work,' or other similar language, without advising StateFarm of the new 'value', skip over to municipal court and file, and the judge will tag them for you. First send them a demand letter with the amount of the 'coverage' for your bike as it was with all of your great work, say 20K, or what ever you can demonstrate by receipts and photos of your bike, both before and after the accident, and give them a time frame of say, for example 15 days, to respond.
Then if they fail to respond, I believe the court will support you.
I quit wasting my time with agencies or folks who will not see the legal light, many years ago.

Racerdetroit, I just saw a 07 14 wit a 300 already on it for 13500, that would b one hell of a platform for you to replace ur bike. Already wide tire kitted up. that right there save u a few thousand wouldnt it

Thats EXACTLY what my State Farm agent has always told me.........hope I don't run into this problem. For example..........my wifes GSXR1000 has one of Matt Mladin's exhaust systems off his championship winning race bike........it's worth quite a bit and would be very hard to replace...........

First off we did not refuse to help racerxdetroit. He has asked us to tell the insurance adjuster that we have sold many ZX14's for $40K and over. This would be a lie. We have never sold a ZX14 for close to $40K although we wish we were able to. In fact we sold a brand new 2008 full custom with 0 miles last week for $25K and are happy to get that.
We did tell racerxdetroit we would be happy to give an estimate on replacement cost for his bike if he would send us pictures. We feel this would be a much greater help to him as a replacment build cost would produce a much larger # than what a used custom bike will sell for. I feel this is reasonable and we were and are willing to help out.
We work very hard to provide a good product and good service to our customers and the industry. We would like to be represented correctly.

Well I know there is a lot of ish talking on this forum about who is right, I have seen pic's of your bike before and always loved how it was put together. It seems like you are getting everything worked out with Roaring Toys and that is good but most importantly after a severe wreck like that sounds you are alright. The bike will get replaced and you will propbably do it bigger than before so keep us updated on your next build,I would love to take that journey wit ya.

Thanks Big Ced, I have been thinking what direction I will take with my next bike (if I dont buy back the salvage). Its 50/50 if I get another ZX14 or a Busa, the 2 bike stock for stock the Busa holes it value better ( like $1K more) than a ZX14 as far as the N.A.D.A is concerned, I dont race or do the twisty thing anymore. I love to ride, style and win bike shows. I will be back and I plan to out do my with witch ever bike I decide to buy.

Insurance companys, regardless of whom they are not on your side in a single vehicle accident. The adjuster has a boss, if you are having issues with the adjuster not willing to accept your documents, take it to the Headquarters. Your sister-n-law should be advising you on how to get everything you are entitled.
If all fails obtain an attorney!
