Oil Cooler
Any benefit in removing the oil cooler and just connecting the lines? I have seen several bikes without it and just wondered why remove it. I would assume on a drag only bike it is not needed.

I've been considering the same thing, Chad. Maybe I'll look at it tomorrow. If I do, I'll be sure to weigh it as well. 
For the street it doesn't seem like a good idea.

Mine is gone from installing the Adams pan. I didn't notice any difference.

Ninja, did you connect the two hoses with a splice or what did you do?

I'm not sure if the 14 has a flow restrictor such as the one on the Busa? That might be important to know.

I installed a small length piece of stainless tubing between the 2 hoses, installed hose clamps, and thats all I did. The coolant just flows through the hose continuously as if the cooler was still there.

leave it on. it helps get the oil up to operating temps when you start a cold bike as the coolant heats up a lot quicker than the oil

I believe that it is recommended to run the 2" billet pan on the street, as opposed to the 1 1/2"...since the oil cooler is gone with that setup. I guess a little extra oil volume helps.
