Blockoff's question
I am putting a set of smog blockoffs on my bike when I remove what is on the motor what do I do with the piece that is on a plug? remove it??

piece? mine has a billet plug for the airbox. all the lines from the valve cover gets trashed.I think ive read that the reed valves stay under the billet valve cover block-offs. that's it I believe

The valve that is on the plug, remove and dicard it. You have to plug the airbox where the big hose came out off. This mod will NOT make your bike faster,it will only help stop the popping through the exaust and let you be able to hook up an oxygen sensor to your exaust so you can get a proper reading for tuning.

So I remove everything eaven the reeds and just unplug it and put on the blockoff's.

Muzzy block-off's:
*Remove stock hoses and covers
*leave the stock reeds in place
*Remove the right bulkhead cover and plug the air hole from the inside of the air chamber using the aluminum plug provided
* Install Billet plates
* Do not over tighten the bolts (104 In lbs)
