quote: call wayne willis at track skinz.. He did mine with wide openings for drag racing and no pucks for a really good price. You can go to barnacle bills and open up the order info and there's a link at the bottom of the page to download a file which will give you info on how to measure yourself for custom leathers. Here's the link to there. http://www.racingleather.com/ and also the link to waynes site. trackskinz.com Be sure and tell him that Chad Yates told you to call. He's got great customer service and prices.
Damn Chad, I just took a look at trackskinz. Great prices, and seem to be well made. Looked at some write-ups on them and they were very favorable. Did you buy some? I might just have to partake in a one-piece for twisty track AND drag track.
I've got a 2pc and am happy with it. It's a little over protected compared to other drag suits, but i can't afford to get hurt so if i go down i'd rather have it and not need it than vice versa lol. I just got a plain black perforated 2pc suit made with no velcro for pucks (since i don't ride twisty tracks) and wide leg openings so that they'll go over my low cut sidi's. I forgot to get an aero hump, and i lost a bunch of weight so now i'm swimming in them a little but it is what it is lol. He has some new gloves that are BITCHIN! too. They've got 14pt hard carbon, articulated fingers, kangaroo leather palms, and have ZERO break in time. If you are interested, give wayne a shout and tell him that I sent you. He's got Awesome customer service and will take care of you.

quote: A one piece at the dragstrip would be a nightmare! If you just dragrace I highly recommend you to stay away from that just imagine between runs your jacket hanging at your waist while having to do anything to the bike or just hanging out. Not trying to disagree with anyone else, just expressing my opinion.
I drag race and road race. I have a two-piece Teknic that works fine but fits like crap. I'm long and lanky and as stated earlier in this thread, it is hard to find off the rack stuff that will fit. I totally agree that the one-piece would be a torture chamber in any kind of heat at the drag strip. I would mainly use it on chilly nights or at the road-race track.
Chad, I will most certainly mention your name when I talk to Wayne. I'm also an organizer for a local sportbike group that has over 260 members. If I like what I see, I'll really push his products to our members. Thanks.

How about a cheaper option like www.jackets4bikes.com ? Their leather pants saved my ass (literally) last February when I fell down on the track (@100mph aprox.). Actually I bought a new pair from them to replace the old ones.
