hsbc again
I just read a letter I got from hsbc this morning.it seems they have found a way to adjust my rate on my two year no intrest bike note. Most of what it says is greek to me,but I think it would take a lawyer or accountant to make it make sense to adverage joe like me.I am starting to see why everyone dislikes this company.

Got the same letter ... I couldn't really make heads or tails out of it .. I guess i'll find out when my next statement comes in ...I do know one thing , when they send you a letter it can't be good news ...

Paid mine off 2 weeks ago.... Still got letter.... Must have crossed in mail or maybe the poor economy has forced them to start hiring Jerry's kids

I got the letter 3 or 4 months ago.
I called and they said to disregard - that it didn't apply if I had the 24 month "guaranteed" rate.
The following statements confirmed that the rate did not change.
BTW, I just paid them off 1 month before it kicked up to 17.99%.

That's why I took the two year deal they offered to start with. Two years no intrest,and pay it off befor the intrest came calling.

If it was a locked right they can't change it on you. i will never go with them again I don't care if it's a 5 yr no interest deal. They lost my last title they had and I keep calling and calling and finally one lady found my titl under a bunch of magizines in there break room and this shit went on for 3 months after I paid the loan off.

fuck HSBC .. I've been with them for over 15 years... fuckers outright refused to let me out of my high rate mortgage... just (on friday) moved the mortgage after giving up on negotiating with them.. they tried every line in the book to block me from the stoopid like "oh rates arent really any lower now" (ya - right  ) to "oh you must have lost your job" to anything they could come up with... i'm allowed 20% per year payment penalty free by contract so when it came time to pay them off they tried to charge me penalty on 100% of th ebalance - I even had to argue about that and waive the contract in their face...
dont get me going about those mutherfuckers ... they are real slimy cock sucking bastards.
