Personal Best

Very impressed with todays results. I ran MR9 and the track temp was over 100 degrees with about 70% humidity. No excuses but track prep is poor in Orlando so my 1/8 mile times are weak. Can't wait until it cools off. 8.60's here I come!!!!!!!

So you figure you were spinning the tire on that 5.69?

Are you 135-140 suited, or unsuited? I forget.

Nice Job!! Wait for the cool weather!

I weigh that unsuited. I know it sounds like a load but they don't use VHT at this track at all. All the 7.90 bikes run like 8.20's here at this track. I am going to Smokins track on Sunday if this cold front comes through. The track Smokin runs on is KILLER! Thanks Shane

I am running Brocks track map with no secondarys or air filter for use with MR9 baffle removed ( I keep it in).
Suspension- Stock 66" wheelbase and lowered 3/4 at the forks then strapped. 180/55 Michelin. I am in the third hole on my links as well.
Clutch- OE except Brocks HD springs. I run an MPS autoshifter with a 10.5 pill
Engine- Stock but I do run Mobil 0w20 oil.
Exhaust- Street Meg

If I forgot anything just ask.............this should be it.

Well done ... 8.81 in the heat is killer ...The mr9 really gives you a great bump in power even in the bad air .. I wish we could still get the old u4 because it comes pretty close to the mr9 but a lot cheaper ..

Yes, that seems about right. I would figure that by the time it shifts its about 10.9. I think that I told you before but I have to thumb shift first gear or the autoshifter messes up. At good tracks it works just fine.

Thanks Dusty, see ya in Valdosta. I met a guy today that runs SEMDRA, he's got a ZRX and runs the 6.50 class I think. Its funny he mentioned that he was buddys with the owner of Star Racing. He mentioned some guy name Mike something that is the #1 qualifier in that class next weekend.

I think Chad would have to pull a few inches of wheelbase off to make it a fair comparison.

In semdra there's a 6.0 class and a 6.60 class. He might say he's #1 qualifier, but a guy name stanley russel on a old gsxr1000 is #1 qualifier with a 6.601 I saw the pass.
I had bad news broke to me friday, I have to go to work tuesday and will be gone for a week, so no semdra for me. I got to give up 6th place in set out of at least 110 in the class.
I don't know the owner of star, just the 2 doug's. They are good guys to work with.
Make sure to bring all your bags of tricks with ya where you can teach me a thing or two!

Damn!!!!!! You were 6th out of that many? Nice job man. I can't remember the guys name but now that I think about it he runs the 6.0 class. He was telling me he ran a 5.99 which knocked him back to 13th or so. Honestly no bullshit I am coming to that race in Nov.

Check out www.semdra.org and it was street et. I run the 6.0 class too. Last race got rained out (that's why they are having 2 this weekend) and I qualified with like a 6.05 (I think) and qualified 13th out of 30. That's a TIGHT field.
NO bullshit I need a few pointers! How many people you bringing with ya?
