I have gone 5.60 flat @ 127.99 in good air a few times on pump gas, but never 5.50s on a stock motor .. We only get one or two times a year with that kind if air ... I'm about ten pounds lighter than Ricky But i'm not Ricky Gadson either !! The man can ride the wheels off a motorcycle ... I would also think Ricky sees much better air where he races than we will ever see here in FL.. Maybe this winter my 09 will see a 5.59 on pump gas .... It may need some funny fuel to go that fast on a stock motor ...

Here is a 5.65 pass done last spring on pump gas on my 06 .. 80 deg day low humidity.

The thrid ticket with the 1.36 60 foot may have been a 5.60 or better but i was in a wheely and had to back off a bit ...
That was with a Shinko Usoft setting at a little over 62 inch wheel base ..

Just to be clear, it was Rickey Grayson riding with the slip I posted...not Gadson.

Here is Grayson on a 10R, on a very hot day:

Bike was perhaps a little undergeared for the heat...but you get the idea.

This guy can ride, for sure.

The Shinko tire is not on the market yet. Chris Jones was testing it at the last race in Valdosta. I understand that it will be out in February or March 2010. Have you been locked up or something? I have'nt seen a post from you in a while.

I hear that shinko is super soft to the touch. I'm happy with my michelin. I think if I switch from the power race it would be to the power one.

i said it bites better than the POWER RACE.

and if i'm not mistaken what kind of tire does chris jones runs on his turbo bike .. i heard he's sponsored by shinko .. AND ISN'T HE WINNING..

i don't keep up with racing results or football or soccer or baseball ..just with what happens in my neck of the woods
..

but i also know that what them prostreet guys are running on for tracks are not the same tracks you and i run on when friday nite comes.. i have better times too when i go to a rented track and the track is prepped ..and don't have cars that shoot out water from their exhaust or front wheel drive cars ,,,a/c runnning..pick-ups with mud tires and water in the bed.. and all the other shitt that has to be taken into account to get down a track..
