LOL, since somebody doesn't know how to keep their mouth shut i guess i'll just go ahead and tell the story. Gah!!!

So, a few days ago I woke up at about 5AM extremely pissed off but then got a sigh of relief when I realized that I had only been dreaming. Here was the dream.

I had just gotten back from deployment and ordered my parts hoping to get them in time for the first race when i get back ( October 31st ). A week went by and still no parts so I was starting to get worried that I wasn't going to have them in time. Two days before the race I was sitting at home and heard the UPS truck pull up so i got really excited. I got a huge box full of parts (Tiger undertail, extensions, sprockets, Chain, Lowered oil pan, and a catalyst seat) and when i went out to my garage and opened them to start installing everything I cut the box open only to find that everything in it was *Breast cancer awareness pink* lmfao. I was fucking LIVID! and then i woke up lol.

Bawls, if you don't mind me asking how much do you weigh? How much time did the 16t cut from your time as well as your full exhaust?

Nice dream BTW

Before i left i was always around 190-195 lbs in shorts. When i still had the stock pipes on my bike with it just lowered and strapped I put the 16t on to get the power to the ground a little better at lower RPM's so that i didn't have to launch at 5500 rpm. It helped me by over a tenth and about 4-6 mph in the 1/8th because i was having to shift right before the traps. After I put the exhaust on, I learned that the 16t was more problems than anything due to the increase in power and loss of weight. If I were going to run my bike at stock wheelbase I would either run 17/41 or 17/40.

It's kind of hard to compare my times to other peoples because I race up in the High desert mountains east of San Diego where the Density Altitude ranges from 4000-6000 FT on most days. I was running a 6.40 @ 115-116 mph on mid 1.5 60fts before i put the pipe on. It was very consistent but i thought that i needed more power to go faster, so i bought the pipe and then realized that i needed to re-gear if i was going to leave it stock or stretch it. I then had to go on deployment so i never really got to try and go fast on it the way it sits right now. I started messing up a lot once i piped it. If i got a good 60ft, i would either wheelie or get out of the groove and spin. if I didn't wheelie i would spin. shit like that... My best time with the pipe out at my track was a 6.34@116 on a 1.62 60ft and a 4.08 330ft.. Terrible 60ft, and not a great 330 but the ET wasn't all that bad. We'll just have to see what i'm able to do with it on Halloween. I'm also about 175 lbs now

Keep me posted, I am considering going to a full exhaust or a 16t or a race filter or any combination of the above.

If you're not running a full exhaust you'll probably like the 16t front sprocket. I know that it helped me tremendously before I put the pipe on. It's just a little bit much now that I put on the Smeg and PC3. The way that I see it, It's a 16 dollar sprocket that you can put on in 30 minutes. If you like it, keep it on... if you don't, take it back off. I guarantee you that it will pull like no other with it though.

I would have done it already if it were not for the need of a Spedohealer.

I remember reading about that. How accurate will it make the speedo by doing it?

I'm 16-48 and I don't have a speedohealer. Put gps on your bike and see what the mph is.
